What do Winnie the Pooh and Henry have in common?

Henry has a fascination with honey. An hour after we brought Lizzie home from the hospital we couldn't find Henry anywhere. We called and called and searched and searched and were starting to get really worried. Then I saw some little feet backing out from under a table we have with a floor length tablecloth on it. It was Henry. When I peeked under the table to see what had keep him quiet (must have been a "no" for him not to answer our calls) I found the honey bottle and a large puddle of honey on the carpet. That was the beginning of the honey battles. We've had honey on the couch, honey on the table, and today Henry walked in to where I was feeding Lizzie with honey from hand to elbow and dripping everywhere. (There was a lake of honey in the kitchen and honey footprints leading from there to Lizzie's room.)

Does anyone have any ideas of how to lock up honey? We've tried high places (there was a chair next to counter today that allowed the honey to be grabbed) and time outs and loss of honey privileges. Any ideas? I use honey to make bread and so don't think I can ban it from the house entirely, but I don't think the carpet can take much more honey treatments. Though luckily it seems to come out great with just lots of warm water. (and I think Henry's skin is looking great from all the honey treatments its had.) Please send any and all ideas. I'm thinking of a large Tupperware that Henry can't open, but not sure it will work with our little honey liberator.

fun with grandma and grandpa

My parents came a week after Lizzie was born to see her, help out, and just enjoy being together. It was so great to have them look after and spoil us. Thanks so much for coming mom and dad! Here's some pictures of the fun things they did with Henry while they were here.

Guadalupe River. Who doesn't love throwing rocks at the Guadalupe? I love this picture my mom took of Henry. It really captures his enthusiasm as he tosses rocks.
San Antonio Zoo and the train.
Mission Espada. Where Henry told stories and made up games. Another great face. This kid sure posed well for the grandparents. Why doesn't he pose for me?

Ice cream!
It was a great visit. Though I think my favorite moments were watching Grandpa and Henry fighting bad guys with lightsabers. Lizzie sleeping in Grandma or Grandpa's arms (she never was put down when they were here.) And getting lots and lots of naps. Wahoo!!!
